Receptionist - Contract (On-Site)


Location: In-Person | 5 Days per Week – Chinatown Metro Stop

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Contract Position


A DC law Firm is seeking a professional and dependable Contract Receptionist. This is an on-site role requiring attendance in the office Monday through Friday. If you are a reliable, detail-oriented professional who enjoys creating a welcoming office environment, we'd love to hear from you.


Schedule:

  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Includes a 1-hour lunch break
  • Total paid work time: 7.5 hours per day


Key Responsibilities:

  • Staff the front desk from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Answer and direct incoming calls on the main office phone line
  • Greet and assist visitors and guests
  • Manage conference room reservations and scheduling
  • Coordinate and order food for meetings and events
  • Perform general administrative and clerical duties as needed


Qualifications:

  • Previous receptionist, front desk, or administrative experience preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy office environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard office technology
