The Data & Analytics Function oversees the analytics lifecycle to identify, analyze and present relevant insights that drive business decisions and anticipate opportunities to achieve a competitive advantage. This function manages analytic data platforms, the access, design and implementation of reporting/business intelligence solutions, and the application of advanced quantitative modeling.

The team drives business innovation by leveraging emerging technologies and turning them into differentiating business capabilities.

The primary role of this position is to lead teams through the discovery process and value realization. Expertise in design thinking and discovery is required. This person will work collaboratively with Product Owners, Shared Services/Cloud teams, offshore developers, and business users to solve business problems and deliver solutions.

This individual will partner directly with cross-functional leaders, segment leadership, and technical teams to identify high-value business cases and drive the adoption of AI and advanced analytics. As a senior leader on the team, this role requires a proven track record of deep analytical expertise, long-term strategic vision, and the ability to mentor peer analysts to elevate the organization's overall data capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Coaching & Team Guidance: Lead, mentor, and coach data analytics managers. Teams, and pod members with a product-first mindset, fostering professional growth and ensuring the delivery of high-quality analytical solutions.
  • Strategic Analytics Leadership: Contribute to and guide the long-term analytics and data ecosystem strategy for the organization, aligning department-level goals with broader corporate objectives.
  • Executive Partnership: Partner directly with the Director, VP-level, and senior leadership to identify, prioritize, and scope new business and segment-wide data use cases.
  • AI & Advanced Analytics Identification: Proactively collaborate with the business, AI COE, and digital solutions teams to identify, evaluate, and champion potential AI and advanced analytics learning use cases.
  • Type 1 Value Realization: Work closely with digital solutions managers and business partners to identify critical problems and construct robust business cases focused on delivering high-impact, Type 1 financial and operational value.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Owners, Platform, and Application teams, and developers to design and implement scalable analytics products.
  • Analytical Problem Solving: Lead the team in performing discovery, hypothesis validation, and root-cause analysis to solve complex business problems.
  • Stakeholder Facilitation: Plan and lead collaborative workshops, alignment sessions, and requirements gatherings with senior stakeholders to translate complex business needs into clear data requirements.
  • Recommendation & Impact Assessment: Formulate data-driven strategic recommendations, providing comprehensive summaries of financial impacts, operational outcomes, and risk-benefit analyses of alternative solutions.
Qualifications
  • Strategic & Product Mindset: 4+ years of experience guiding teams with a product-first framework, managing analytical products through their lifecycle, and developing long-term data strategies preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, IT, Operational Excellence, or a related field, with a demonstrated history of operating at a senior or lead level preferred.
  • Coaching & Mentorship: Proven track record of successfully coaching, mentoring, and upskilling data analysts and cross-functional team members in technical and analytical methodologies.
  • Advanced Analytics & AI Familiarity: Strong conceptual understanding of advanced analytics and identifying business applications for AI/ML technologies.
  • Enterprise Infrastructure: Experience working with Big Data systems, cloud-based Data Lakes, and enterprise data visualization/scorecard platforms.
  • Executive Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex analytical findings, data stories, and strategic recommendations clearly to senior executive audiences.
  • Large-Scale Program Delivery: Proven experience successfully driving initiatives within programs of large organizational scope, high complexity, and multi-functional reach.

Anticipated salary range: $105,100 - $150,100
