This person has a thorough knowledge of electrical systems, construction documents, and quality construction work practices.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintains regular contact with project personnel as well as professional relationships with designers, owners, and subcontractorsOutlines job specifications and reviews material submittals for project requirementsSupports preconstruction, pre-fabrication and construction teams with electrical/systems/ construction related issuesAids in the creation of detailed bill of materialsEducates field personnel on layout/design processes and supports project effortsCreates detailed layout drawings while adhering to company standardsSeeks ways to infuse quality and labor savings into overall layout effortsCommunicate ideas for continuous improvement in standards and workflowsPerforms other duties as assigned by managementQualificationsEducationMinimum of 5 years field construction experience or a Bachelor’s degree in EngineeringRequiredExperience with team collaborationProficient in reading and understanding of all forms of construction documentsAbility to interpret 2D plans and provide input to a 3D modelSkills & CompetenciesDemonstrates a willingness to learn and efficiently use software such as BIM360, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Outlook, Navisworks, Revit, and file sharing platformsDemonstrates problem-solving ability and strong sense of urgencyDemonstrates organizational and communication skillsA commitment to continued learning and developmentAbility to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experienceCompany-paid Medical, Dental, and Vision insuranceShort-Term & Long-Term DisabilityLife and AD&D insurance401(k) with 5% company matchPaid HolidaysPaid Time OffAnnual performance reviewsOpportunity to work on large-scale, high-profile projectsEmployee Stock Ownership Program:We don't just work for lighthouse-we own it.
