Location:

Note:

Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Ohio and have at least 3 years of business or commercial litigation experience. Experience handling discovery, depositions, pleadings, substantive motions, mediations, and court appearances is required.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in complex business and commercial litigation matters.
  • Manage cases through all phases of litigation.
  • Conduct written discovery and take and defend depositions.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filings.
  • Attend mediations, hearings, arbitrations, and court appearances.
  • Assist with trial preparation and trial strategy.
  • Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice groups.
  • Deliver strategic legal counsel while maintaining outstanding client relationships.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active Ohio Bar license.
  • 3+ years of business or commercial litigation experience.
  • Experience with discovery, depositions, pleadings, and substantive motions.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Superior academic credentials.
  • Trusts and estates litigation experience is a plus.
