Job description

The Fire Alarm Installer will specialize in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of addressable fire alarm systems across residential and commercial sites. Working primarily as a solo installer or within small teams, the role demands technical expertise and direct communication with customers and team leaders. The installer is responsible for ensuring all system components function correctly and meet safety standards, requiring occasional local and regional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Install addressable fire alarm systems at residential and commercial locations
  • Perform wiring, testing, and inspection to ensure operational safety and compliance
  • Maintain and troubleshoot existing fire alarm installations
  • Provide customer support and communicate directly with clients and team leads
  • Document installation processes and system configurations accurately

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in fire alarm installation
  • Technical certification in fire alarm systems or electrical work
