Shift: Varied (7:00 AM 7:00 PM; 7:00 PM 7:00 AM)
Position Details:
Patient Population: Low Risk and High Risk Obstetric Patients
Setting: OB Hospitalist
Responsibilities: Obstetric care, Labor & Delivery coverage, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasound performance and interpretation, Vaginal and Cesarean deliveries, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
Required Procedures: Low & High Risk Pregnancy Management, FHR Interpretation (NST/CST/FSE), Level I OB Ultrasounds, Vaginal Deliveries, Cesarean Sections, Breech Deliveries, Multiple Births, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
EMR System: EPIC
Support Staff: APRN (primarily Midwife), L&D RNs (EFM Certified), OB Techs, Private and Employed OB/GYN Physicians
On-Call/Weekends: On-Call: N/A Weekends: As Scheduled
Submission Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE)
- Active Ohio License (Licensing candidates may be considered)
- BLS Certification
- EFM Certification from NCC
