Job Description Summary:
This position provides process management leadership and training. He/She supports the department with development and maintaining of processes. He/She ensures effective communication of Leadership Model, scorecard and process management with team members or appropriate levels of staffing. This position understands and communicates customer service goals of organization and may provide process support for Transport and/or Environmental Services Department(s) with measurement techniques to ensure program alignment with the OhioHealth scorecard and values. He/She also may supervise all daily activities of the Transport and/or Environmental Services Departments.
Responsibilities And Duties:

Develops and manages process planning while defining objectives, resource requirements and barriers within the scope of OhioHealth goals to include Balanced Scorecard using management model as guide.

Monitors tools used in process management such as timelines, action plans, and measurement in accordance with established objectives.

Performs functions required of the position including educating and training all levels that may include Transport and Environmental Service staff and needed training for units/ancillaries, while communicating with management as appropriate.

Reports on process progress to managers/directors while identifying need for adjustments based on measurement/performance of process. Uses problem-solving skills for identified adjustments to resolve departmental issues and barriers.

Approaches, develops, deploys, and continually improves maintain s departments process flows, gab analysis sheets. Maintains measurement records while communicating with management as appropriate.

Promotes, establishes, monitors and maintains Transport and/or Environmental Services staff while defining objectives, resource requirements and barriers with the scope of OhioHealth goals and management model. Shifts and days should have fair and equitable supervisory attention.

Promotes and drives customer service initiative to include service recovery throughout the organization. Assists in training of all levels of Transport and/or Environmental Services staff. Uses creative skills to keep high level of customer service momentum.

Supervises and evaluates work progress of employees while working with departments to meet special needs.
As a High Reliability Organization (HRO), responsibilities require focus on safety, quality and efficiency in performing job duties.

High School or GED (Required)
Additional Job Description:
Basic computer knowledge and customer service skills. Knowledge of process leadership, planning and management. 3 yrs. in environmental or cleaning services field or hospital field.
