Job description

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with a technical support center in South East Asia and East Africa, that provides program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are seeking an experienced Facility Engineer to support the Air Force project in Ohio. You will provide mechanical engineering advisory support, support HVAC and control systems design and evaluation, provide reliability, resiliency, and sustainment recommendations, ensure code compliance, and coordinate construction interfaces. 

This position is contingent upon the award of the contract. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mechanical engineering advisory support.
  • Conduct ICD 705 design reviews.
  • Support HVAC and control systems design and evaluation.
  • Provide reliability, resiliency, and sustainment recommendations.
  • Ensure code compliance.
  • Coordinate construction interfaces.

Qualifications to be successful in the role:

  • Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio (Mechanical).
  • Minimum 15 years of mechanical engineering experience.
  • Familiarity with ICD 705 construction.
  • Experience in HVAC and control systems design.
  • Ability to obtain required TS/SCI and SAP access.
