Job description

This position is located in Worthington, OH.

Energy Efficiency Intern

Go Sustainable Energy, LLC is seeking full-time paid interns for Spring and Summer 2027 semesters. Go is an energy-efficiency consulting firm based in Columbus, OH with additional offices in Dayton and Cleveland.

We have open internship positions that can be based out of either our Columbus or Dayton offices. The Columbus office is conveniently located on High Street in Worthington, just a few miles north of OSU's campus, and can be reached by bus, bicycle, or car. The Dayton office is located in downtown Dayton and is an easy commute from the University of Dayton and a reasonable drive from Cincinnati.

Go is a fun, progressive, and inclusive firm that advises commercial, industrial, and utility clients on ways to reduce energy consumption. Our wholly owned subsidiary, Runnerstone, serves a range of businesses and associations reviewing proposed energy legislation, regulatory cases, and changes to national energy policy.

Interns will support Go engineers on a mix of energy-efficiency projects, possibly including efficient new building design, energy audits, and utility efficiency programs, in addition to supporting Go's ongoing research.

Go Interns could also help to support Go's wholly owned subsidiary, Runnerstone, by reviewing proposed energy legislation, regulations, and utility cost recovery plans. Interns could also be asked to provide supporting analysis to estimate electric system costs and customer impacts or draft memorandums with key findings.

Successful candidates will have a scientific or technical educational background or could be pre-law or policy students with strong technical competencies.

Go Sustainable Energy is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. All hiring decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or protected Veteran status.
