Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Endoscopy Department team. In this specialized role, you will provide high-quality care to patients undergoing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and comfort.
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care before, during, and after endoscopic procedures.
  • Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and assist with sedation during procedures.
  • Prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment and assist physicians during procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about the procedure, potential risks, and recovery process.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth coordination and patient safety.
  • Document patient assessments, procedures, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
Registered Nurse - Endoscopy Qualifications:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State].
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
