What You'll Do:
As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our electrical systems. You'll apply your technical expertise to support both day-to-day operations and long-term infrastructure planning.
  • Design, evaluate, and maintain electrical systems including power distribution, backup power, and control systems
  • Lead and support preventative and corrective maintenance efforts for critical electrical infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support capital projects, system upgrades, and operational improvements
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal policies
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics, specifications, and maintenance procedures
  • Provide engineering support for root cause analysis, system optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations that enhance performance and efficiency

What You'll Bring:
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Preferred: 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering within the natural gas or petrochemical industry and PE certification
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NFPA 70E)
  • Experience with power systems, including low and medium voltage distribution, UPS systems, and generators
  • Proficiency in engineering tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM, or similar)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on safety and reliability
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • A proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement
