Summary
Assist the E-Commerce Manager with the overall operation of the E-Commerce area. Help to achieve established sales revenue and profit goals by ensuring quality and production standards established by the organization are maintained. Deliver exceptional customer service to our customers through both email and in-person interactions. Handle, sort, process, file, and store merchandise so that it can be effectively and efficiently sold online.
Essential Job Functions
  • Assist in managing the daily operations of the E Commerce area. Work with the E Commerce Manager to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
  • Ability to meet individual production goals within Shop goodwill consistently.
  • Lead ecommerce staff including the ability to administer conflict resolution and problem solving.
  • Perform daily/weekly/ monthly financial and product reporting including: SGW database reporting and department excel worksheets.
  • Time management and organization skills allowing for prioritization of product, people and processes.
  • Monitors shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to maintain satisfactory thresholds within various marketplaces.
  • Report, address, and prevent any known potential losses and work to protect GWC assets.
  • Provide excellent customer service by presenting information and responding to questions from customers and store managers using tact, courtesy, and cooperativeness.
  • Coordinates training of ecommerce staff to effectively identify valuable merchandise.
  • Abide by all company policies and procedures.

Ancillary Job Functions
  • Must be able to respond to emergencies in manager's absence.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Education and Experience - An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered.
  • High school or equivalent education.
  • Two to three years of retail experience including two years supervisory experience required; experience in the resale field is helpful.

  • Define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
  • Add, Subtract, Multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to multitask effectively; be able to adjust to frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
  • Provide a safe work environment and communicate safety information to employees to keep workers safe.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills in dealing with customers and employees.
  • Ability to navigate search engines and other websites for product research
  • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work as well as concentrate on multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.

Work Environment - Environmental or atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job.
  • Warehouse environment. Exposed to moderate noise and dust levels.
