Job description

The Division of Infectious Diseases is actively recruiting a Manager, Laboratory Research Operations with expertise in the area of M. tuberculosis and/or other pathogens of public health significance.

Responsibilities
  • Manage research staff.
  • Provide laboratory management support to laboratory members.
  • Order supplies and equipment, and interact with vendors as needed.
Qualifications
  • BSL-2 and/or BSL-3 laboratory experience (required).
  • Cell biology expertise: flow cytometry, cell culture, purification of organelles (e.g., mitochondria).
  • Proper mouse handling, including evaluation of mouse survival and necropsy/harvesting organ techniques.

Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
