We are currently seeking a talented and detail-oriented Cost Accountant with manufacturing experience to join our finance team.

Cost Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular cost analysis to identify and report on variances between standard and actual costs
  • Monitor and analyze production costs, providing insights and recommendations for cost optimization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and ensure accurate cost allocation
  • Maintain and update cost accounting records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards
  • Prepare and analyze cost reports, providing management with timely and accurate information for decision-making
  • Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Participate in inventory management and valuation processes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Cost Accountant Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Cost Accountant in a manufacturing environment
  • Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and practices
