Lead Consultant, Air & Climate

Hybrid-based position in Dublin, OH or Indianapolis, IN; remote hire considered.

Your new role

As our new Lead Consultant, Air Quality Professional, you will be part of our interdisciplinary team serving clients across the Midwest and globally. This group consists of people who are passionate about air quality and assisting Ramboll’s clients with their most challenging problems. You will work with all levels of expertise from entry‑level team members to those with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on‑the‑job tasks.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Estimating air emissions and conducting engineering evaluations of air pollution sources.
  • Preparing air quality permit applications and negotiating draft permit terms and conditions with applicable regulating entities.
  • Working as a team to contribute technical skills on complex projects, and contributing to proposal preparation, technical presentations and client meetings.
  • Conducting site visits to industrial facilities as may be required to understand operations, gather data/information, and inform the evaluations described above.
  • Critically reviewing and interpreting local, state, and federal environmental regulations.
