Job description

Overview

As a Civil Engineering Project Manager for Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in our Columbus, OH office, you will work closely with our Principals in our civil/site practice to plan and execute projects within our private, public and energy sectors, communicate with clients, develop new client opportunities, and grow your career. You’ll coordinate with other practices (including environmental, ecological and surveying practices) to address project-specific needs. You will also manage/mentor staff and attend industry organization and client meetings.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Professional Engineering License (P.E.)
  • Ability to provide a technical review of Civil Engineering deliverables
  • Experience preparing proposals and overseeing end‑to‑end project execution
  • Proven success in client engagement, networking, and business development
  • Ability and desire to mentor staff
