As a Data Domain Architect Lead in Core Treasury, you will have the unique opportunity to work across the organization, collaborating with key stakeholders in Treasury, Technology and Finance.  You will gain direct exposure to senior business leaders and help to streamline and automate our analytical and intelligence processes. You will provide a consultative perspective to drive improvements in our data framework that support key analytics and models, focusing on our $1+ Trillion retail deposit portfolio. You will tackle ambiguous problem statements, working independently and forging deep connections across the firm creating a lasting impact for the team and entire organization!

Job Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role in transaction-level data enrichment and transformation. You will use analytics to derive key insights on money movement and consumer health, making a tangible impact throughout the organization.
  • Dive deep into our financial reporting platforms and develop a key repository for treasury analytics. You'll promote key analysis and provide a strategic repository for model assumption inputs, becoming a go-to expert in the field.
  • Hone your skills in delivering high-impact, well-structured analytical solutions. Support the team's analytical perspectives with finance and non-finance audiences alike, sharing compelling messages with our senior leaders.
  • Leverage existing tools and techniques to create repeatable processes for intelligence creation. Integrate the newest technology advancements to further reduce errors and maximize the speed to insights, promoting innovation at every turn.
  • Work closely with our Technology Team to design and deliver cutting-edge data domains into the Finance Data Mart. Your efforts will bring together essential data categories, integrally supporting the Treasury function's analytical and reporting needs with precision and efficiency.
  • Gain unparalleled exposure to core finance and banking skills, including interest rate risk, capital, liquidity, transfer pricing, valuation, and strategic analytics, exploring a wide range of elements of our fortress balance sheet.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • 4+ years of full-time work experience in data architecture, financial reporting system or data analytics
  • Advanced experience with business intelligence analytic and data wrangling tools such a Python, SAS, SQL, and Alteryx
  • Experience with relational databases including optimizing data pipelines to load, process, transformer and stage data for intelligence generation ensuring data quality through profiling, cleansing and validation
  • Practical knowledge in financial analysis, competitive analytics and data management
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or other quantitative, analytical or financial subject areas
  • Advanced Excel use including structured process to prototype and solution analysis which is easy to follow, helping to answer complex and/or ambiguous questions
  • Working knowledge of retail banking and products
  • Excellent communication skills both written (Presentation/PowerPoint, Memo/Word) and verbal with experience in debating complex concepts with senior leaders

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience developing in AWS, Databricks and Snowflake
  • The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated, thrive in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities, and have passion and intellectual curiosity to find and capture business value
  • Familiarity with Hyperion Essbase, Dodeca, PitchPro, Tableau and relational data structures
  • Desire and/or progress towards MBA, CFA charter, CPA, CTP or other financial certifications
