Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Automotive Wiring Harness Design Engineer with deep expertise in Siemens Capital to support end-to-end automotive electrical harness development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, validating, and releasing production-ready wiring harnesses using Siemens Capital while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams. This role requires experience in converting or referencing legacy CATIA V5/V6 and EAZ data into Siemens Capital and delivering complete logical, physical, manufacturing, and validation outputs that meet OEM production standards.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 8+ years of automotive wiring harness design experience.
  • Hands-on expertise with Siemens Capital Harness Design Suite.
  • Experience working with CATIA V5/V6 and EAZ harness data.
  • Strong understanding of automotive electrical architecture and vehicle communication networks.
  • Experience with connector systems, terminals, splices, wire specifications, shielding, and grounding.
  • Knowledge of OEM wiring harness development and release processes.
  • Experience generating manufacturing documentation and engineering BOMs.
