Position Summary

GOAL: To advance the mission and vision of Central Ohio Youth for Christ and WellSpring Counseling through providing professional clinical mental health services to WellSpring clients.

KEY OBJECTIVES

  • Responsible to maintain a caseload of clients
  • Responsible to fulfill administrative counseling responsibilities
  • Responsible for other COYFC and WellSpring duties
  • Responsible to fulfill COYFC Spiritual Responsibilities

SPECIFIC DUTIES

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintain Caseload of Clients

  • Maintain caseload per week above minimum standards

Fulfill Administrative Counseling Responsibilities

  • Complete session case notes in a timely manner
  • Complete case plans, progress notes, termination notes as outlined in the WellSpring policy manual
  • Maintain licensure status

Other Staff Responsibilities

  • Support Leadership Development training efforts as available
  • Attend COYFC All-Staff and WellSpring Counseling staff meetings

Spiritual Responsibilities

Because the overriding religious purpose and mission of Youth for Christ USA is to communicate and introduce the Gospel of Jesus Christ to young people and their families, and in that regard to make, educate and encourage life-long disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ, it is very important that you as an employee in the movement of Youth for Christ be recognized as an associate minister of the Gospel.

As a part of Youth for Christ and a minister of the Gospel, COYFC expects all team members to:

  • Seek God's guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives
  • Participate and lead regular times of prayer, devotion and worship as a regular aspect of your role within YFC
  • Regularly share the gospel message (as appropriate) with adults and students who come into contact with COYFC ministries
