Job Description
Title: RN - Electrophysiology Lab
Schedule:
- Shift: 4x10 Day schedule (Mon-Fri), 07:00-17:30
- Call: 1 week every 2 months
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years RN experience
- ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Experience with Epic charting system
- Core EP skills including:
- Cardiac ablation and mapping
- Pacemaker and AICD insertion, programming, and lead extraction/removal
- Arrhythmia induction and conduction studies
- Cardioversion
- Left atrial appendage closure procedures
- Vascular closure systems and sheath removal/monitoring
- Radiation/laser safety and scrub procedures
- Ventilator management
Compliance / Notes:
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
- COVID-19 vaccine not required
- Ohio-specific credentialing requirements:
- Strict compliance deadline: Tuesday prior to start (no exceptions)
- Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting ASAP after signing contract
- Candidates outside Ohio may need to travel to Ohio for fingerprinting or complete mailed packet urgently
- References: 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be a manager/director
- RNs must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission
- Former employees eligible after 6 months away; current employees ineligible at specific locations
