Interventional Radiology Technologist โ€“ Radiology / Cardiology - Travel Position (with $7,500 Completion Bonus)

Duration:ย 13 weeks
Shift:ย 4x10 Days
Pay:ย $3,127.20/weekย (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)ย 


About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our Radiology and Cardiology team. This role involves performing minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a variety of conditions, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians during interventional radiology and cardiology procedures such as angiography, stent placement, and catheterization.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images.
  • Administer contrast agents and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Maintain sterile technique and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and assist with post-procedure care.
  • Document all procedures accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate or Bachelorโ€™s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Licensure/Certification: ARRT certification required; state licensure as applicable.
  • Experience: Previous interventional radiology or cardiac cath lab experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-pressure environments.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
