Position Summary

As an Assistant Store Manager, you help lead day-to-day store operations. You’ll partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, manage donations, and deliver a great customer experience. This role is hands-on—leading by example, keeping the store organized, and motivating your team to succeed.

Lead Others
  • Deliver excellent service to shoppers and donors
  • Support hiring, scheduling, training, and coaching

Drive the Business
  • Oversee daily operations (donations, pricing, stocking, cash handling)
  • Use data and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office) to make decisions
  • Help achieve sales goals through strong floor presence
  • Keep merchandise organized, stocked, and visually appealing
Ensure Results & Compliance
  • Hold self and team accountable for performance
  • Maintain safe, secure operations (loss prevention, safety practices)
  • Ensure register accuracy and proper deposit handling

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 2–3 years of retail experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Resale, production, or operations experience a plus

Work Environment
  • Fast-paced retail setting with moderate noise
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Lift/carry up to 30 lbs (occasionally more)
  • Hands-on work with equipment and registers
