Assistant Store Manager – The UPS Store – Peoria, AZ

Pay: $17.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience

Position: Full-Time

Schedule: 6 days per week, including weekends

Location: Peoria, AZ

About the Position

The UPS Store in Peoria is looking for a dependable, professional, customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, staying organized, and helping keep a busy retail store running smoothly.

We are especially interested in candidates who already have an Arizona Notary Public commission. If you are not currently a Notary but are willing to become one, we are happy to consider you.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for every customer
  • Assist with the day-to-day operation of the store
  • Help supervise and support store employees
  • Handle shipping, packing, printing, copying, faxing and other store services
  • Perform notary services once commissioned
  • Process customer transactions accurately
  • Answer phones and assist customers with questions and shipping needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional store
  • Help resolve customer concerns and problems
  • Follow company procedures and maintain attention to detail
  • Open and/or close the store as scheduled
  • Help the Store Manager keep the store operating efficiently

Qualifications

  • Previous retail, customer service or supervisory experience preferred
  • Current Arizona Notary Public commission preferred, or willingness to obtain one
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to multitask and work independently
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays as part of the regular schedule

Schedule

This is a full-time, 6-day-per-week position.

Store hours are:

  • Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Saturday: 10:00 AM–6:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM–3:00 PM

Employees will have one regular day off during the week. Weekend availability is required.
