Job description

As a part of the AML/KYC Oversight team, you will  provide oversight and guidance to help the business deliver AML and KYC strategies that support compliance for products and the customer base under applicable regulatory expectations, including BSA, PATRIOT Act, and OFAC/SDN  requirements. The team partners closely with AML/KYC Operations, CCB and AWM lines of business, and Global Financial Crimes Compliance, coordinating across Compliance, Technology, and Operations to deliver capabilities for capturing, reporting, and monitoring compliance with regulatory standards.

As a AML/KYC Associate you will lead the business in delivering AML and KYC strategies aligned to key regulatory obligations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), PATRIOT Act, and OFAC/SDN requirements. This Associate Project Manager / Business Analyst role is a PM/BA hybrid responsible for both delivery execution and business analysis across Compliance, Technology, and Operations. The role supports the build-out of end-to-end AML/KYC processes and related technology solutions, including support for Customer Screening. Success requires strong governance discipline, requirements rigor, and the ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders from working teams through senior leadership.

The successful candidate will drive day-to-day workstream execution through disciplined planning, governance, and stakeholder coordination, while also owning core business analysis outputs including future-state process documentation, requirements definition, and use-case development in support of AML/KYC capabilities. The role also provides project support for Customer Screening, coordinating requirements, delivery planning, stakeholder alignment, and readiness activities to enable successful implementation.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end project planning and support for AML/KYC technology workstreams, including scope definition, integrated milestone planning, delivery tracking, and risk/issue management
  • Act as the primary coordination lead across Compliance, Technology, and Operations stakeholders to capture, validate, and prioritize requirements
  • Maintain governance artifacts (open items, decisions, dependencies, RAID logs) and escalate blockers with clear owners, impact assessment, and target resolution timelines
  • Support documentation of business requirements and use cases for Customer Identification Program (CIP) system capabilities, including identity verification, data ingestion, and exception handling workflows
  • Facilitate working sessions and operating rhythms, including recurring working groups with structured agendas, minutes, and tracked action items
  • Monitor delivery status against commitments and identify variances, risks, and issues; drive timely escalation and resolution to keep milestones on track
  • Produce concise, executive-ready status reporting and communications (progress, key metrics, decisions required, next steps) and facilitate meetings/present ongoing activities to ensure alignment and visibility across all levels

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills:

  • Background or understanding of AML/KYC required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work with minimal explanation/direction and change course with limited notice
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
