Job description

What You Will Do

  • Supervise lower-level Natural Resources Engineers and Natural Resources Engineer Technicians
  • Produce and/or review engineer-sealed plan sets and bid documents for construction
  • Provide technical assistance for development on future and current Abandoned Mine Lands (AML) project sites
  • Assist with development and implementation of engineering procedures and policies
  • Act as project manager for assigned projects

Qualifications

  • Certificate of registration as a Professional Engineer issued by a State Licensing Board, AND 12 months of experience as a Natural Resources Engineer 2 or 12 months of equivalent related engineering experience
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications noted above, but licensure cannot be substituted
