TEMPORARY CUSTODIAN

Pay: $16.00/hour
Schedule: Afternoons, Nights amp; Some Weekends
Work Environment: Industrial

Job Summary

Performs routine manual tasks to maintain the cleanliness, sanitary conditions, and appearance of company buildings and surrounding areas.

General Responsibilities

• Operate various types of equipment, including forklifts, skid steers, industrial sweepers, and other equipment in an industrial environment.
• Clean bathrooms, offices, and other assigned areas by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing.
• Restock restrooms, lunchrooms, and break areas.
• Collect and remove trash to appropriate disposal areas.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, and other assigned areas.
• Mix or blend routine cleaning solutions to proper concentrations as needed.
• Clean and wax floors using industrial-size mops and/or machines.
• Wash windows and walls using prescribed cleaning solutions.
• Report minor building or equipment repair needs to the supervisor.
• Report safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Clean and clear entranceways and areas outside of buildings.
• Spread snow and ice-melting agents and broom/squeegee snow as directed.
• Maintain all required safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned. The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.

Job Qualifications
