Sales Executive - New Business Development Hunter, Capital Markets
Wipro's Capital Markets division delivers cutting-edge IT services and innovative solutions tailored for a diverse range of global clients operating within Investment Management and Asset Servicing, Global Markets, Wealth Management, Data Management, Post-trade Services, and Risk and Compliance sectors. Our team champions digital transformation initiatives that enhance both employee and client experiences, while managing critical elements crucial to our clients' business success.
We invite motivated professionals to apply for the role of New Business Development Sales Executive, primarily focusing on cultivating and acquiring new business within the Capital Markets sector. Based in the New York City / New Jersey metropolitan area, this role emphasizes targeted client acquisition and expanding Wipro's footprint by securing new logos and generating substantial long-term revenue contributions, with an ambitious annual target ranging from $10M to $15M.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies to identify, engage, and secure new Capital Markets clients with a clear focus on relationship building and opportunity creation.
  • Identify, establish, and nurture connections with key decision makers, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor and strategic partner within client organizations.
  • Lead client workshops, boot camps, and strategic sessions to effectively demonstrate Wipro's tailored solutions and value propositions aligned with client needs and industry trends.
  • Leverage existing alliances and external partnerships, including cloud, digital, and emerging technologies, to co-create and pitch joint solutions expanding Wipro's service offerings.
  • Manage and forecast account resources accurately by tracking confirmed opportunities and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.

Required Qualifications and Attributes:
  • A seasoned Senior Business Development Executive (Hunter), with a proven ability to secure new clients and accelerate growth within the Capital Markets domain, demonstrating strong domain expertise and business acumen.
  • Extensive experience selling diverse IT services across multiple client service areas including Cloud, Data Analytics, Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, and other advanced technology solutions.
  • Consistent achievement of sales targets in complex, consultative selling environments underpinned by IT solution selling methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor market trends, client behaviors, and competitive landscape, incorporating insights into flexible and effective business development strategies.
  • Strong pipeline development and forecast accuracy skills to manage sales cycles effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset to work seamlessly with alliance partners and internal product teams to develop cohesive client solutions.
  • Insightful understanding of market dynamics, competitor offerings, and regulatory environments impacting Capital Markets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders at all levels of the client organization.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $150,000.00 to $210,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
