    Job description

    WCS Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CAS Assessor to conduct the Child and Adolescent Service Needs (CAS) assessments for youth and families across Brooklyn. This position plays a vital role in evaluating service needs, strengths, risks, and supports to ensure youth receive appropriate behavioral, developmental, and community-based services. The CAS Assessor will complete in-person assessments, coordinate with caregivers and providers, and submit accurate, timely documentation to support service planning and eligibility.

    Job Function:

    • Schedule: Full-Time | 5 days x 8 hours
      Flexible daytime shifts: 10am-6pm, 11am-7pm, 12pm-8pm.
    • Schedule and coordinate the assessment process with individuals, families, and providers in the home and/or community.
    • Travel throughout the assigned region as required.
    • Accommodate varying schedules and hours, including flexibility on weekends.
    • Contact individuals and/or family caregivers to arrange appointments at convenient times and locations, which may include evenings and weekends.
    • Collaborate with Operations Support to arrange interpreter services when needed.
    • Job Requirements:
