    Your New Role...
    CNN seeks a talented Senior Producer to join the Laura Coates Live show at 11pm in New York!
    Your Role Accountabilities...
    Collaborating with the anchor, executive producer, and show team to plan and execute the program. Helping the executive producer manage a team spread across two cities. Produce and oversee the production of segments with an eye towards compelling angles and creative elements. Craft and write elaborate monologues. Work hand in hand with the executive producer to ensure quality control of the program. Actively participate in pitching and futures planning. Help mentor junior staff members.
    Must be flexible and able to regularly work long hours, this role will require being onsite 5 days a week and work an extended schedule as the news cycle and deadlines require.
    Your Qualifications & Experience...
    • 10+ years of producing experience on a live news program
    • Extensive knowledge of politics and current events
    • Control room proficiency, daily line producing experience a must
    • Four-year college degree preferred or proven industry experience
    • Ability to manage a team in breaking news situations
    • A strong editorial sense of what is "breaking news" and what are substantial developments
    • Exceptional writing skills and ability to craft and produce elaborate monologues
    • Strong editorial sense of stories that resonate across the political, cultural, and legal spectrums
