Job description

We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as a Project Administrator, Craftsman (SWORD) to work out of Colorado Springs, CO

PAY: $117,000 - $129,000

JOB SUMMARY:

USfalcon seeks a Project Administrator to support the implementation of the 392d Combat Training Squadron’s (392 CTS) M&S strategy and roadmap. This strategy integrates current and future space M&S capabilities into United States Space Force (USSF) exercises. The Project Administrator position supports the 3IS III SWORD M&S Team by building and owning the processes, documentation systems, and accountability structures that enable the team’s three major lines of effort — deployment, integration, and development — to execute consistently. This position requires a mix of project coordination and well-honed administrative skills to ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, management of project schedules, documentation of lessons observed, and overseeing day-to-day administrative functions of the team. This position is primarily in Colorado Springs, Colorado, with regular functions at Schriever Space Force Base, CO, and requires on-site support.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Prepare, manage, and maintain the project-related documentation (e.g., resource allocation, status reports, policies and procedures, and schedules).
  • Review, edit, and prepare for publication reports, meeting minutes, trip reports, assessments, and other products.
  • Coordinate with the 392 CTS Service Exercise Team (SET) to capture M&S requirements for exercises.
  • Own the team’s action item register and project status tracking system, ensuring consistent visibility across all active efforts and following up with team members to drive accountability to commitments.
  • Observe, capture, and recommend procedural changes to sustain best practices and learn from previous actions.
  • Own and continuously improve the team’s operational processes — including lessons learned capture, new team member onboarding, and standard operating procedures — developing templates and workflows that drive consistent execution across all three lines of effort.
  • Establish and maintain the team’s knowledge management system, including a centralized document repository, deployment runbooks, as-built records, and institutional knowledge captured from departing team members.
  • Plan, organize, attend, and document outcomes of SWORD M&S Team-supported meetings, conferences, working groups, seminars, and other M&S Integration events.
  • Carry out tasks as directed by contract leadership required to ensure 392 CTS mission success.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 10+ years of experience supporting DoD space operations or related
  • Experience supporting project teams with scheduling, documentation, and coordination to ensure timely tracking of milestones across interrelated efforts.
  • Experience utilizing software commonly available on Government-owned networks to produce products (e.g., Microsoft Office 365 applications, Teams)
  • Experience planning, coordinating, and supporting technical events, such as exercise planning conferences, technical working groups, and other multi-stakeholder professional events.
  • Experience gathering and organizing data to support resource allocation and team reporting.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders both orally and in writing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • PMP certification or a Certificate of Project Management from an accredited institution.
  • Experience supporting project management activities from initial design to completion.
  • Experience with Department of War (DoW) acquisition, contracting, or Programming, Planning, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes.
  • Experience working in DoW or National space organizations.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Bachelors degree is preferred; Additional years of experience may be used in lieu of education

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: TS/SCI
