Duration: 06 months Contract
Note:
Hybrid: 3 days onsite per week
Shift: 9am-5pm local hours
Description:
Supply Chain Associate Procurement/Inventory Management:  This role requires consistent and strong communication within Supply Chain and throughout all and across all sites and the successful candidate will play a key role at the Ohio site ensuring supply reliability, efficiency, agility, and differentiation in service offerings.
Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Procurement of printed and packaging components and raw materials.
  • Place, expedite and/or negotiate orders with suppliers and resolve receiving and invoice discrepancies.
  • Receive, evaluate, and process purchase requisitions for materials and services in compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Manage purchase orders, vendor-managed inventory, or other supply agreements, which could include expediting, monitoring, and updating purchase orders.
  • Handle projects with a moderate level of complexity, including special projects to identify cost opportunities and savings.
  • Be innovative when problems arise and find solutions within common business and manufacturing practices.
  • Maintain purchasing documentation to cGMP standards.
  • Ensure audit compliance readiness of purchase orders and related records.
  • Monitor and coordinate returns of goods.
  • Monitoring of Key Performance Indicators
  • Organize, analyze, and communicate metrics and data to highlight operations performance.
  • Respond effectively to crises and resolve issues arising from competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives.
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school/GED + 4 years of relevant work experience Or
  • Associate’s + 2 years of relevant work experience OR
  • Bachelor’s + 6 months of relevant work experience
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school/GED and 2 years work or military experience OR
  • Associates and 6 month work or military experience.
 
Top 3 Must Have Skill Sets:        
  • Organization - Preferred candidates are well organized and able to handle multiple competing priorities between both Procurement and Warehouse Inventory Management.
  • Communication Skills - Preferred candidates have strong communication skills and respond quickly and accurately, escalate issues as needed, and support the team.
  • Proficient user of software applications - Associate will work within multiple systems including SAP, Smartsheets, Microsoft Outlook, and potentially others
 Soft Skills:
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills combined with excellent communication and consistent follow up.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while staying on top of tasks and deliverables.
  • Technically proficient.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Associate will support with inbound vendor management of Purchase Orders for both commercial manufacturing and offsite test material storage and will be working on site between both sites.
