Job description
PEAK Genetics has an opportunity available to join our talented laboratory department in Shawano, WI! In this role, you will be a member of a highly skilled team supporting the evaluation and packaging of bovine products that are distributed around the world. As a Laboratory Technician for PEAK Genetics, you will be surrounded by people who are passionate about the agriculture industry, bovine genetics, and client satisfaction. SHIFT AVAILABLE:Â
- Monday - Thursday 9:30am - 6:00pm; Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITYÂ
- Perform processing work according to standard SOPs
- Evaluate samples for motility, concentration, volume, and quality
- Maintain accurate records and inventory
- Keep records on bull registration and enter in appropriate databases
- Operate and maintain lab equipmentÂ
QUALIFICATIONSÂ
Required
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Capacity to work on feet and stand for long periods of time
- Willingness to learn and follow company protocolsÂ
IdealÂ
- Basic computer skills working with Microsoft Office
