Pipelayer

Ulliman Schutte is a national leader in the construction and renovation of water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, and associated utility work.
We are seeking experienced construction jobsite Pipelayers for our construction site in Northern Virginia. This is a stable, multi-year project on a large site where we are building critical infrastructure to provide clean water to the region. Industry leading benefits include competitive wages, health and dental insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for all employees.
Pipe Layer Daily Life
  • Work safely on large diameter ductile iron and PCCP pipe installations.
  • Prep ground, cut/align pipes, and seal joints.
  • Work with project Superintendent to prioritize work.
  • Use concepts, procedures, and practices common for Pipe Layers.
  • Outdoor work with all types of weather.

Pipe Layer Must Haves
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, diagrams, and grades.
  • Knowledge of pipe, joints, aggregates, etc.
  • At least one (1) year experience as a Pipe Layer.

Pipe Layer Nice to Haves
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of formal training or apprenticeship.

**All candidates must pass a post-offer drug screening and physical.**
