As a Business Development Executive, you'll drive revenue growth through strategic IT services sales, leveraging a suite of technology offerings to solve complex business challenges across multiple industry verticals.
Responsibilities:
โข Drive new business development and revenue growth through strategic IT services sales
โข Build and manage a robust sales pipeline to consistently exceed quarterly and annual quotas
โข Develop comprehensive account strategies that maximize customer lifetime value and expand market share
โข Conduct effective discovery sessions to identify technology gaps and business requirements
โข Architect compelling IT solutions that align with client business objectives
โข Create and deliver persuasive proposals and presentations that demonstrate clear ROI
โข Collaborate with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable
โข Navigate complex procurement processes and contract negotiations
โข Own territory development through systematic prospecting, cold calling, and networking activities
โข Manage existing accounts to identify expansion opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction
โข Build C-level relationships with key decision-makers and IT stakeholders
โข Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce CRM
โข Stay current on IT industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
โข Understand vertical market challenges and how IT solutions address specific industry needs
โข Participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
โข Provide market feedback to internal teams for product and service development
Qualifications:
Required:
โข 5+ years of proven B2B technology sales success with demonstrated quota achievement
โข Experience selling complex IT services including managed services, cloud solutions, or infrastructure
โข Track record of managing sales cycles from prospecting through contract closure
โข Experience with enterprise-level accounts and multi-stakeholder decision processes
โข Strong understanding of IT services landscape including cloud computing, cybersecurity, and managed services
โข Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders
โข Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
โข Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
โข Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
โข Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution capabilities
โข Self-motivated with ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred:
โข Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or related field
โข Industry vertical experience in entertainment, staffing, legal, government, finance, education, or events
โข Background in managed service provider (MSP) or value-added reseller (VAR) environments
โข Technical certifications or education in IT-related fields
โข Experience with consultative selling methodologies
