Specialty: Step-Down / Progressive Care
We are seeking experienced Medical Step-Down Registered Nurses (RN) to provide high-quality care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. This role involves caring for patients who are clinically stable but still require close observation, advanced assessments, and cardiac monitoring.
The RN will work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and patient-centered care in a fast-paced step-down environment.
Provide care for patients requiring medical step-down level services
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and continuous monitoring
Manage cardiac telemetry and interpret patient data
Administer medications and IV therapies per protocols
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for care planning
Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
Ensure patient safety and infection control compliance
Support patient education and discharge planning
Active Ohio RN license
Minimum 1 year of Step-Down / Progressive Care experience
Current BLS (AHA)
Current ACLS (AHA)
BSN preferred
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays
