Job description
Registered Nurse – Cardiac Step-Down
Schedule: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), typically working every 3rd weekend and covering 1 holiday per assignment.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience
- Experience with open-heart patients, ventilators, and Epic EMR
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac step-down patients.
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions, adjusting care as necessary.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan and implement patient care.
- Float to other units as needed during low volumes or staffing crises.
Compliance / Notes:
Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
