    Job description

    Part-Time Therapist (TBI/ABI)

    About the Role

    We are seeking a compassionate and skilled part-time therapist to join our rehabilitation team. Under the supervision the LCSW, the therapist will provide both group therapy and individual therapy to clients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). This role is essential in supporting clients’ recovery, emotional well-being, and reintegration into daily life.

    Schedule

    • Commitment: 2–3 times per week in Sussex County, Delaware
    • Flexibility: Specific days and times can be arranged based on therapist availability and facility needs

    Key Responsibilities

    • Facilitate group therapy sessions that foster peer support, communication, and coping strategies
    • Deliver individual therapy tailored to each client’s cognitive, emotional, and behavioral needs
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff (nurses, physicians, rehabilitation specialists) to ensure holistic care
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and client progress
    • Contribute to treatment planning and case reviews

    Qualifications

    •  Therapist (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) preferred, bachelor is behavioral health with experience will be considered
    • Experience working with clients with neurological conditions, preferably TBI/ABI
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to diverse cognitive and emotional needs
