Position Overview
Tekberry is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented
Associate Logistics Technician to join a global leader in the design, manufacturing, and integration of precision control components. This position supports stockroom and logistics operations by maintaining accurate inventory, issuing and receiving materials, performing inventory transactions, and ensuring the timely movement of parts throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities
Inventory & Stockroom Operations
- Issue, receive, and transfer materials while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Perform inventory transactions including stock receipts, returns, kit issues, shop floor issues, shortages, inter-stock transfers, and spare part shipments.
- Verify inventory balances, perform cycle counts, and investigate inventory discrepancies.
- Process inventory corrections and reconciliations while maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Maintain lot traceability and ensure all inventory transactions are completed accurately.
Material Handling & Logistics
- Receive materials from production and receiving inspection.
- Issue materials to manufacturing and support production requirements.
- Properly package, label, and prepare materials for shipment or storage.
- Utilize proper material handling techniques to prevent product damage and maintain inventory integrity.
- Follow Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling procedures when working with sensitive components.
Quality & Documentation
- Perform accurate inventory and transaction data entry within inventory management systems.
- Maintain complete and accurate stockroom documentation and inventory records.
- Review materials for compliance with company standards, including packaging requirements, lot traceability, and cure dates.
- Sign required certification documentation for spare parts and inventory transactions.
- Maintain a high level of keyboard accuracy while working in a real-time inventory system.
Team Support & Stockroom Maintenance
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Receiving Inspection, Program Analysts, Dispatch, Model Shop, and Assembly & Test personnel to support manufacturing operations.
- Assist with training new stockroom employees and support multiple stockroom locations as business needs require.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe stockroom environment.
- Consolidate inventory, replenish stockroom supplies, and support continuous inventory organization efforts.
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain compliance with established stockroom standards.
Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, stockroom, inventory control, or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
Required Skills
- Experience working in inventory control, warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
- Basic computer and keyboarding skills with the ability to perform accurate data entry.
- Ability to follow written work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with inventory management or ERP systems.
- Experience performing cycle counts, inventory reconciliations, and stock transactions.
- Knowledge of lot-controlled inventory and material traceability.
- Experience working in manufacturing or highly regulated environments.
- Familiarity with ESD handling procedures.
- Previous stockroom or material handling experience supporting manufacturing operations.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Manufacturing and stockroom environment requiring frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive movement.
- Regular lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of materials weighing up to 65 pounds.
- Frequent use of computers and inventory management systems for transaction processing.
- Continuous movement throughout stockroom and production areas to support manufacturing operations.
- Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to ESD handling procedures when applicable.
