Job description

Job Summary:
Tata Consultancy Services is a leading global IT services, consulting, and business solutions organization, and they are seeking an Informatica ETL Developer. The role involves supporting technical delivery, translating user requirements, and optimizing performance through ETL development and database management.
Responsibilities:
• Support technical delivery through coding, development, and testing;
• Understanding of automated processes for building, testing (integration, SIT & UAT Support), documenting, and deploying at scale;
• Translate user requirements into the overall architecture framework and implementation of new systems;
• Create test code to validate the application against client requirement;
• Understand, create and debug database related queries;
• Ensure complete technical documentation exists for all projects and processes;
• Maintain successful relationships with application developers;
• Performance Optimization;
• Develop informatica mappings, debugging using queries on source and targets;
• Successful resolution of production issues.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a closely related field
• Strong knowledge of SQL, Relational Database Management Systems like Oracle, DB2 and SQL Server
• 2-3 years SQL is required
• 2-4 years ETL (SAS) experience required
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Knowledge in Informatica server and application administration
• Experience with Informatica Advanced Techniques Dynamic Caching, Memory Management, Parallel Processing to increase Performance throughput
• Designing and implementing Informatica 10.1 PowerCenter mappings
• Strong SQL and related skills. Ability to develop and implement complex procedures and packages using Oracle PL/SQL
Preferred:
• Experience scripting macros in MS Excel
• Scala development skills
• Good understanding on the parameter file concepts and how they can leveraged for good design and solutions
• Desire to work in an information systems environment
• Working in Agile Teams
• Knowledge of Jira & Bitbucket
