This role requires strong field leadership, subcontractor coordination, and construction management expertise, with frequent travel to project sites. The position plays a critical role in driving project execution while mentoring junior field staff and maintaining high-performance job sites.

    Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel across multiple trades to maintain efficient workflow and productivity.
    • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, short-term lookaheads, and sequencing plans to drive timely project completion.
    • Enforce job site safety protocols, conduct safety meetings, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and industry standards.
    • Monitor quality control processes, perform inspections, and ensure all work meets project specifications and construction best practices.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress logs, incident reports, and field updates.
    • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, engineers, and stakeholders to resolve issues, manage risks, and ensure project alignment.
    • Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents and field staff, supporting professional development and improving team performance.
    • Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment usage, and site conditions to optimize efficiency and minimize delays.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent, Construction Superintendent, or Site Supervisor in commercial construction.
    • Proven experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on active construction job sites.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, blueprint reading, and project execution processes.
    • Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar project management tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet project deadlines, control costs, and deliver high-quality construction outcomes.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask in fast-paced construction environments.
    • Solid understanding of OSHA safety standards and commitment to maintaining a safe job site.
    • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as required.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
    • Familiarity with lean construction practices, quality assurance programs, and field productivity optimization.
    • OSHA 30 certification or other relevant construction safety certifications.
