This opportunity is designed for an experienced engineering leader who excels at delivering complex land development projects while balancing technical excellence, client satisfaction, financial performance, and team leadership.The ideal candidate is a proven project manager with extensive experience leading residential and site development projects, mentoring engineering teams, and managing projects from concept through completion while maintaining exceptional quality standards.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead residential and commercial land development projects from planning through final delivery
  • Direct internal engineering teams and coordinate multidisciplinary subconsultants
  • Prepare project scopes, cost estimates, proposals, and negotiate project agreements
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, staffing, and overall project performance
  • Serve as the primary client contact while fostering long-term business relationships
  • Provide technical leadership throughout all phases of project execution
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop engineering professionals to support career growth
  • Maintain QA/QC standards and ensure technical accuracy across project deliverables
  • Apply advanced civil engineering principles to solve complex design challenges
  • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D throughout project planning, design, and production
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 8 years of land development project management experience
  • Extensive experience managing residential and site development projects
  • Strong civil engineering design and technical expertise
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing engineering teams
  • Strong project budgeting, scheduling, and resource management experience
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills
  • Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona

Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
