Key Responsibilities: One of our premier clients is seeking an SAP Test Lead.
The Test Lead will be responsible for overseeing the testing activities for an SAP S/4HANA implementation within a manufacturing environment. This role requires a hands-on leader who can collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage test plans, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Test Lead with SAP, PLM, and other enterprise systems, as well as a solid understanding of the manufacturing industry.
Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for SAP and PLM implementations and upgrades.
Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, and schedules in alignment with project timelines and business goals.
Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, developers, and key stakeholders to define testing scope and requirements.
Ensure all testing activities adhere to best practices, standards, and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Oversee the execution of functional, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
Identify, document, and prioritize defects/issues and drive their resolution with the development team.
Manage test environments, including setup, configuration, and data preparation.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the testing team, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Regularly communicate testing progress, issues, risks, and mitigation strategies to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with manufacturing industry regulations and quality standards during the testing process.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in testing, with at least 3 years in a Test Lead role.
t least 3 year's experience in testing for an End-to-End implementation of SAP S/4 Hana modules and PLM systems (e.g., Siemens Teamcenter, PTC Windchill).
Proven experience in the manufacturing industry, with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and workflows.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Client UFT, JIRA).
Expertise in managing the entire testing lifecycle from planning to execution and defect management.
Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior testers.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Familiarity with testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and integration testing.
ISTQB or other relevant testing certifications.
Experience in working with global teams and offshore test resources.
