Location: Circleville, OH 43113
Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping Office Assistant to join our team in Circleville, OH. The ideal candidate will support the shipping department by managing shipping documentation, coordinating shipments, and assisting with inventory tracking to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and process shipping documents including bills of lading, packing lists, and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers and freight companies to schedule pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory in the company’s tracking systems.
- Communicate with internal departments and external customers regarding shipment status and delivery schedules.
- Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies and issues promptly.
- Support the shipping team with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and shipping regulations.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics or office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or office administration preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and shipping software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
