Job description

  • Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software packages
  • Applying testing methodologies to validate functionality, performance, and security of software package
  • Conducting rigorous testing across multiple environments to support release cycles and ensure system stability
  • Utilizing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing
  • Tracking, documenting, and reporting defects using industry-standard defect tracking systems
  • Collaborating with developers, engineers, and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues
  • When needed, providing surge support to aid in development efforts

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

  • Experience in software quality assurance and test reporting
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
  • Experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira
  • Strong understanding and experience with Java and Python languages
  • Ability to work in a secure, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
  • Active Secret Clearance, with TS/SCI eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field 
  • Experience in testing DoD or federal government platforms
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
  • Eight or more years of experience preferred
