The Difference You Make:
The Corporate & Investment Banking Structured Trade Finance Associate develops, analyzes, and executes specialized financing solutions for international trade and commodity transactions with key risk mitigants. Key duties include structuring deals with instruments (prepayments, inventory finance), modeling cash flows, negotiating with banks, and managing risk through insurance or collateral.

  • Deal Structuring:Design and implement tailored financing solutions (e.g., prepayments, inventory finance, borrowing base facilities).

  • Risk Mitigation:Analyze and mitigate risks using instruments like insurance guarantees and letters of credit.

  • Financial Modeling & Analysis:Create complex working capital models, forecast trends, and analyze collateral (inventory, receivables).

  • Execution & Documentation:Negotiate with lenders/counterparties and prepare legal documentation.

  • Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Math, or Engineering.

  • Experience:1-5 years of experience in commodity finance, corporate banking, or trade finance.

  • Technical Skills:Advanced Excel modeling, knowledge of financial instruments, and risk assessment techniques

  • Soft Skills:Strong negotiation, multi-tasking, communication, and interpersonal skillsto manage client and bank relationships.

What Else You Need To Know:

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.

$145,000.00 USD

Maximum:

$175,000.00 USD
