Job description

Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.
Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph required.
Position Description
The Software Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining system management infrastructure software and services for High Performance Computing (HPC) systems in a Linux environment.
Position Required Skills
§ Experience using the Linux CLI and Linux tools
§ Experience developing Bash scripts to automate manual processes
§ Recent software development experience using Python
§ Familiar with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools such as Netbox
§ Experience with Secret Management tools such as HashiCorp Vault
§ Familiar with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions such as Keycloak
§ Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, PodMan, containerd
§ Experience with automation frameworks including Ansible for orchestrating deployment
§ Familiar with CI/CD principles, methodologies, and tools such as GitLab CI and Jenkins
§ Experience with Git Source Control System
Position Desired Skills
§ Familiar with Observability and Analytics platform solutions such as Splunk
§ Familiar with Agile, Scrum, or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
§ Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)
