Atlantic Academy, RTC is seeking a committed and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is pivotal in delivering specialized mental health support within a community health clinic framework. Work Environment

This remote position allows you to work from any location while being an integral part of a collaborative team at Atlantic Academy, RTC. The standard work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable work-life balance alongside professional commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a primary liaison between families and outpatient service providers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Engage with insurance companies to manage pre-certifications and utilization management processes, supporting clients in navigating healthcare systems.
  • Play an active role in discharge planning and aftercare strategies, contributing expertise to support clients' transitions to home-based or outpatient care.
  • Provide therapeutic meal support, fostering a healthy relationship with food and body image in a safe and affirming manner.
  • Deliver empathetic and client-centered care tailored to each individual’s unique circumstances and intersecting identities, ensuring all clients feel respected and understood.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The social worker will serve various patient demographics, including children, adults, and families from different backgrounds facing mental health challenges. Experience with older adults is highly valued, as it enhances our service delivery to this unique population. Your expertise will be critical in addressing mental health issues while considering the influential factors of clients’ backgrounds and identities, thereby improving overall treatment effectiveness and experience.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential for this role.
  • Active and valid LCSW license in the state of Colorado is required.
  • Proven experience working with older adult populations, demonstrating the ability to understand their unique needs.
  • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills, with the capability to assess and create comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering effective dialogue with clients, families, and external stakeholders.
  • A capacity to work independently, as well as collaboratively within a team setting, contributing to collective goals.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health clinic setting is advantageous, as it aligns well with our organizational ethos.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, intake procedures, and mental health documentation practices can enhance operational efficiency.
  • Continuing education or specialized training in areas such as trauma-informed care, or expressive therapies is beneficial.
Compensation and Benefits

Atlantic Academy, RTC offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year. In addition to a rewarding salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
