Position Overview

Atlantic Academy, RTC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team on a full-time basis. Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility while ensuring access to top-tier resources and support from the Atlantic Academy, RTC team. Although team members work individually from their locations, we emphasize collaboration and communication. Regular virtual meetings and check-ins foster a sense of camaraderie and ensure that all professionals are aligned in their approaches to client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and outpatient providers, ensuring thorough communication and coordination of care.
• Engage with various insurance companies to facilitate pre-certification and manage utilization effectively, ensuring clients receive the necessary funding for treatment.
• Participate in discharge planning and aftercare discussions, developing comprehensive strategies for a successful transition from our programs.
• Provide therapeutic meal support, expertly modeling and encouraging healthy relationships with food as part of holistic client care.
• Deliver empathetic and affirming care to clients, considering their intersecting identities and unique circumstances.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working primarily with older adults facing mental health challenges. Our clients often navigate complex emotional landscapes, requiring sensitivity and understanding of the unique experiences that accompany aging. You will play a crucial role in guiding them through their therapeutic journeys, focusing on individual experiences while considering their holistic well-being.

Qualifications

• A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of California.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Proven clinical and diagnostic skills, with a strong ability to develop effective treatment plans.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a background in working with various clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, adapting to the needs of the team and clients alike.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically working with older adults is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with managing treatment plans and insurance processes.
• Adeptness in therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or similar modalities is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
