Job description

Become a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Rocket Lab's Toronto site, focusing on enhancing production for satellite components. Leverage six sigma and design for manufacture to streamline processes and boost production efficiency.
As a key member of the Space Systems team, you’ll lead the manufacturing unit while improving yield and efficiency. Your role involves extensive documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at refining manufacturing practices. Engage in root cause analysis and corrective actions to ensure high-quality outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the development of manufacturing procedures
• Create and uphold comprehensive work instructions
• Conduct performance improvement on production volumes
• Analyze and rectify manufacturing inconsistencies
• Lead training for technical staff on updated processes
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Over 5 years of manufacturing industry experience
• Proven leadership experience in a team setting
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma
• Capable of handling complex production challenges
