About the role
Utility Operator is an entry level position, which is a great opportunity for individuals looking to work in the power industry. Working under the direction of the Supplemental Waste Program Manager, the individual will be responsible for fork truck operation unloading trucks at the Energy from Waste facility's docks. Utility Operators must maintain their work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner and comply with all safety and operational policies and procedures. Reworld is a smoke free worksite.
Position Responsibilities

• Unloading trucks
• Perform safety inspections
• Review and sign shipping documents
• Assist in regular cleaning projects
• Cross train in other areas of department
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Maintain a valid driver's license
• Must be able to work overtime as needed including nights, weekends, and holidays with minimum notice. May be required to work extensive overtime hours during planned and un-planned maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in an industrial environment utilizing mobile equipment, namely fork trucks, preferred

Physical Demands of the Role

• Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb

• Ability to lift/carry 50lbs

• Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces

• Qualify to wear a full-face respirator

• Consistently work in various weather conditions

Pay Transparency
Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld's reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable). Pay ranges are reviewed from time to time and may be modified in the future.
The pay range for the primary location of this position is: 20.72 - 27.60 USD per hour
